Coffee Colada Broth Smoothie

The broth in this smoothie acts as a flavor enhancer for the other naturally sweet and bitter ingredients. Plus, it’s dairy free, and packed with protein.

The Coffee Colada

INGREDIENTS

  • Coconut meat
  • Banana
  • Dates
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Your favorite coffee beans
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Your favorite cold brew coffee
  • 8 oz. Brodo (we like chicken best for this recipe)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add to a blender: equal parts fresh (or frozen!) coconut meat and banana, plus a few dates.
  • Add a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, a teaspoon of cinnamon, plus a small handful of coffee beans and pumpkin seeds.
  • Splash in some cold brew coffee, plus 8 oz. of chicken brodo.
  • Blend all ingredients together until creamy & enjoy!
