This recipe is a celebration of spring – featuring earthy asparagus, bright herbs, savory Parmesan, and grass-fed butter. It also has an added egg for an extra creamy mouthfeel. If you look forward to these tender, juicy spring spears, you’ll absolutely love this Brodo Smoothie.
We love the Signature Hearth. in this recipe but any Brodo base broth (Chicken, Beef, Hearth) would work deliciously too.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped asparagus (stems and all)
- 3T torn parsley and or basil
- 2T grated parmesan
- 2T grass fed butter
- S and P to taste
- One whole egg
- 1 cup Brodo (we prefer Signature Hearth)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a pot
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat with a lid
- Remove from heat and add egg
- Blend while hot.
