Whole foods are more nutritious and most importantly – they taste much better. This Spring Greens Brodo Smoothie is packed with protein and fiber with just enough fat to help you feel full. It features a diverse selection of greens from the farmers; market. And it’s written by a James Beard Award-winning chef so of course it’s delicious!
Any Brodo base broth would work deliciously, but we prefer Signature Hearth.

Ingredients

a FIRMLY PACKED cup of chopped fresh greens (any assortment will do) stems and all i like tuscan kale, collards and spinach.

one clove sliced raw garlic

one 1/4 inch thick slice of lemon(rind and all)

2T evoo
-
salt and pepper to taste

1 pouch of Brodo – whatever flavors appeal to you but we prefer Signature Hearth
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a pot
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat with a lid
- Blend while hot.
