Classic Brodo Bloody Mary

At your next boozy brunch, reach no further than our Classic Brodo Bloody Mary! Most store-bought bases taste flat and boring. When you make it yourself, you’ll never go back. The addition of broth adds a bit of extra nourishment when you need it the most. We enjoy this beverage so much that we often skip the alcohol and don’t miss it.

Serves 8

Mix Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups tomato juice 
  • 4 Tbsp grated horseradish
  • 3 Tbsp hot sauce (i.e. Sriracha, Cholula)
  • 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive or pickle brine
  • 2 Tbsp chopped rosemary
  • 2 Tbsp chopped basil

Bloody Mary Assembly:

  • 1.5 oz. vodka of choice
  • 2 oz. Brodo broth of choice
  • 4 oz. Bloody Mary mix
  • Olives, pickles, bacon, and any other garnishes


  1. Shake ingredients together with ice.
  2. Pour into a Collins glass.
  3. Garnish with your favorites (olives, pickled vegetables, bacon, etc.).
